Black is my signature color, but I have been mixing in a lot of animal prints and pops of color... I try to dress for where I am going, unless where I am going is a bore (i.e. school), then it is more fun to dress for where you wish you were going. (i.e. for a stroll in Paris).

just kidding princesses. i owe the blog more than that. especially considering i'm in the most boring/least stylish city of the four of us (sorry san diego, you know it's true. attending the san diego style exhibit in balboa park with morgan and chantal verified that).

so, since i'm in the least glam city, that means i have to do much more research searching for style inspiration, which you pretties will reap the benefits of (aka the fruits of my labor spending hours on who what wear, polyvore and net-a-porter).

i've also always lived by the theory that my style/life icon and reason for living once said herself.

Fashion week in NYC began today and unfortunately, I was stuck in class, developing characters and giving oral presentations...

Thus the reason for my lack of activity: depression.

So, I have this sick apartment being built that I was supposed to move into this week...

But, because too many good things happen to me:

God thinks it is funny to keep bumping back my move in day and to turn me into a homeless person to try and teach me a lesson:

This has confused some of my admirers, and thus I want to send a message to the fashion world: You don't have to be inspired by EVERYTHING I do.

How will I walk in them.... minor detail. If these hoes can do it, I probably can too. (sorry Diane Kruger, you're a goddess)

Even though I went out Saturday night I didn't let them have their debut, mostly because the scene from Clueless where Cher's satin shoes get ruined was running through my mind and I didn't want to cause a scene if someone spilled a drink on them.

I relate way more to that movie than anyone should.... oops.

Prepare For Obsession

Just kidding... obviously you are already obsessed. Welcome to Sex And The Cities, the genius brainchild that keeps us all united whilst simultaneously keeping everyone entertained.

And entertain we will, seeing as in the past year alone the four of us have done amazing things like crashing the most exclusive parties, chilling backstage at both rock and runway shows, meeting style icons DVF and Rachel Zoe, all while continuing to accumulate wardrobes that would rival Anna Dello Russo's (we wish... KARL PLEASE ADOPT US).

Even though best friends should never be kept apart, sadly the four of us are forced to be star crossed lovers the majority of this year, as we all are busy chasing different goals... I guess you really can't have everything. Luckily for you, we are in four of the best cities in the world: New York, LA, San Diego, and oh, yeah... MILAN. Even though most of the magic happens when we are together, this blog is going to help document that which happens when we are apart... skyping to compare going out outfits, BBMing pictures while shopping on 5th avenue... you know, the usual long distance relationship stuff...
